Mounted Stuffed Animal Heads

So...I'm thinking about mounting a stuffed animal head in the nursery.  Actually, I am absolutely doing it and I am pretty sure I can't be swayed.  Creepy or cute?

hippo.  would this scare a baby in the middle of the night?  from what I hear, babies wake up quite often.
